Features at a glance
Bioplast 600 is a versatile plant-based biopolymer with many applications. Here are some of the blown film applications:
Ultra-light single-use bags
Single-use bags
Multi-use bags
Technical films
Bioplast 600 has a bio-based carbon share of 63% according to ISO 16620-2 or ASTM D6866. As with all Biotec products, Bioplast 600 is completely biodegradable. Depending on its thickness, this product is compostable according to EN13432 at both industrial composting facilities and under well-managed home composting (NF T51-800).
Bioplast 600 was designed to be processed on conventional equipment for blown film extrusion (LDPE or LLDPE). This grade is, can be coloured with compostable masterbatches, and is sealable (heat sealing, RF, ultra-sonic).
