Bioplast 660C is an advanced starch-based biopolymer compound for flexible application as a middle layer designated for a coex process. This grade was specially developed to comply with national regulations, especially in Italy and France, features a high bio-based content and needs an outer layer for properties. Additionally, it’s also particularly economical.

Bioplast 660 C has a bio-based carbon share of 69% according to ISO 16620-2 or ASTM D6866. As with all Biotec products, Bioplast 600 is completely biodegradable. Depending on its thickness, this product is compostable according to EN13432 at industrial composting facilities.
Bioplast 660 C was designed to be processed on conventional equipment for blown film extrusion as a core layer in a multi-layer film.
